Description			Blocking Peptide for O5401-08C, Oct-2 (Octamer-binding transcription factor 2). O5401-08C1 usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot analysis by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C. Source: Synthetic peptide surrounding aa494 of human Oct-2. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Antibody Blocking. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1ug peptide/1ug antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C. Antibody Blocking: 1ug peptide/1ug antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
