| Description | Murine gAcrp30 is a 16.6kD protein originating from a proteolytic cleavage of Acrp30 (adipocyte complement-related protein of 30kD). Research shows that gAcrp30 is more active than the full length of Acrp30. gAcrp30 is expressed and secreted by adipose tissue. gAcrp30 possesses unique pharmacological properties for regulation of body weight and lipid metabolism. It is a key component in controlling energy homeostasis. Recombinant Murine gAcrp30 is a 16.6kD protein consisting of 145 amino acid residues. Source: Recombinant, globular, mouse Adiponectin expressed in E. coli. Biologcal Activity: Determined by its ability to inhibit the proliferation of murine myeloid cell lines M1. The ED50 for the effect is < 15ug/ml. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
