Description Apoliprotein (apo) A-IV gene contains 3 exons separated by two introns. A sequence polymorphism has been identified in the 3'UTR of the third exon. The primary translation product is a 396-residue preprotein which after proteolytic processing is secreted its primary site of synthesis, the intestine, in association with chylomicron particles. Although its precise function is not known, apo A-IV is a potent activator of lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase in vitro. Source: E. coli Molecular Weight: ~29.6kD Endotoxin: <1.0EU/ug (LAL) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Residues: Asp173~Ser396 (Accession# P06727) with two N-terminal Tags, His-tag and T7-tag AA Sequence: MGSSHHHHHH SSGLVPRGSH MASMTGGQQM GRGSEF- DSLQASLR PHADELKAKI DQNVEELKGR LTPYADEFKV KIDQTVEELR RSLAPYAQDT QEKLNHQLEG LTFQMKKNAE ELKARISASA EELRQRLAPL AEDVRGNLRG NTEGLQKSLA ELGGHLDQQV EEFRRRVEPY GENFNKALVQ QMEQLRQKLG PHAGDVEGHL SFLEKDLRDK VNSFFSTFKE KESQDKTLSL PELEQQQEQQ QEQQQEQVQM LAPLES Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C.
