| Description | Clusterin is a secretory heterodimeric disulfied-linked glycoprotein that is expressed in virtually all tissues, and found in all human fluids. It is involved in numerous physiological processes important for carcinogenesis and tumor growth, including apoptotic cell death, cell cycle regulation, DNA repair, cell adhesion, tissue remodeling, lipid transportation, membrane recycling, and immune system regulation. Sequence: Mouse nuclear clusterin (aa22-448) is fused at the C-terminus to a His-tag, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~45kD (SDS-PAGE) Endotoxin: <1EU/ug (LAL test; Lonza). Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
