Description Functional component of the Nogo receptor signaling complex (RTN4R/NGFR) in RhoA activation responsible for some inhibition of axonal regeneration by myelin-associated factors. Is also an important negative regulator of oligodentrocyte differentiation and axonal myelination. Acts in conjunction with RTN4 and RTN4R in regulating neuronal precursor cell motility during cortical development. Source: Partial recombinant protein corresponding to aa37-555 from mouse Lingo1, fused to His-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~62.9kD AA Sequence: PPRCECSAQDRAVLCHRKRFVAVPEGIPTETRLLDLGKNRIKTLNQDEFASFPHLEELELNENIVSAVEPGAFNNLFNLRTLGLRSNRLKLIPLGVFTGLSNLTKLDISENKIVILLDYMFQDLYNLKSLEVGDNDLVYISHRAFSGLNSLEQLTLEKCNLTSIPTEALSHLHGLIVLRLRHLNINAIRDYSFKRLYRLKVLEISHWPYLDTMTPNCLYGLNLTSLSITHCNLTAVPYLAVRHLVYLRFLNLSYNPIGTIEGSMLHELLRLQEIQLVGGQLAVVEPYAFRGLNYLRVLNVSGNQLTTLEESAFHSVGNLETLILDSNPLACDCRLLWVFRRRWRLNFNRQQPTCATPEFVQGKEFKDFPDVLLPNYFTCRRAHIRDRKAQQVFVDEGHTVQFVCRADGDPPPAILWLSPRKHLVSAKSNGRLTVFPDGTLEVRYAQVQDNGTYLCIAANAGGNDSMPAHLHVRSYSPDWPHQPNKTFAFISNQPGEGEANSTRATVPFPFDIKTLIIAT Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
