| Description | Cy3 can be used to visualize the binding pattern of Musa paradisiaca Lectin (BanLec) in cellular imaging and flow cytometry. Cy3 is more photostable than many other fluorophores and can be seen with TRITC filter sets. It is commonly combined with green-fluorescent dyes for dual-labeling Source: Banana Blood Specificity: Rabbit Agglutinin Sugar Specificity: alpha-Mannose, alpha-Glucose Inhibitory Carbohydrate: alpha-Methylmannoside Fluorescence: Orange Excitation: 550nm Emission: 570nm Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. CY3 conjugates are sensitive to light. | ||
