| Description | Human INSR, Insulin receptor (beta) (GenBank Accession No. NM_000208). GST fusion protein containing the Mr 48kD cytoplasmic domain of the b-subunit of the human insulin receptor, residues 941-1343, expressed in a baculovirus expression system. Specific Activity: ~117 nmol/min/mg @ 25°C using poly(Glu:Tyr) 4:1 substrate. Reaction conditions are 50mM Tris, pH 7.5, 30mM MgCl2, 1 mM DTT, 1.0mM ATP and 1mg/ml substrate. Applications: Suitable for use in Enzyme kinetics, autophosphorylation, and phosphorylation of target substrates. Other applications not tested. Storage and Stability: Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -70°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months. | ||
