| Description | The AD surface antigen of the Hepatitis B virus (HBsAg) is a protein component of the viral envelope that is predominantly expressed in the cytoplasm of infected hepatocytes. HBsAg has antigenic heterogeneity; two pairs of the subtypes d/y and w/r lead to antigenic combinations of adw, ayw, adr, and ayr. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to Hepatitis B surface antigen AD, expressed in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Molecular Weight: ~24kD Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution:: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
