Description			HBsAg is the surface antigen of the Hepatitis-B-Virus (HBV). The capsid of a virus has different surface proteins from the rest of the virus. The antigen is a protein that binds specifically on one of these surface proteins. It is commonly referred to as the Australian Antigen. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to HBsAg, the surface antigen of the Hepatitis-B Virus, expressed in Pichia Pastoris. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunochromatography (capture and conjugate) and as an Immunogen for monoclonal antibody production. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
