| Description | HAPLN1 belongs to the HAPLN family. It contains 1 Ig-like V-type (immunoglobulin-like) domain and contains 2 Link domains. This protein stabilizes the aggregates of proteoglycan monomers with hyaluronic acid in the extracellular cartilage matrix. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa16-354 from human HAPLN1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, expressed in E.coli. Molecular Weight: ~40.9kD (362aa) Applications: Suitable for use in SDS-PAGE. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
