| Description | GST-SV2c contains aa454-579 of the human SV2c protein. This region of the protein is known as the luminal domain loop, between transmembrane domains 7 and 8, and has been shown to be the location of botulinum neurotoxin type A (BoNT/A) binding. Recombinant protein corresponding to aa454-579 from human SV2c, fused to GST-tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~41.73kD Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
