| Description | May play a role in vesicular trafficking during spermatogenesis. Plays a role in lysosomal trafficking, probably via association with the core HOPS complex in a discrete population of endosomes. May play a role in epithelial polarization through stabilization of apical membrane protein content, possibly via the RAB11A-dependent apical recycling pathway. Also involved in direct or indirect transcriptional regulation of E-cadherin. Source: Recombinant protein corresponding to aa1-493 from human SPE39, fused to His-SUMO-Tag at N-terminal, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~73kD AA Sequence: MNRTKGDEEEYWNSSKFKAFTFDDEDDELSQLKESKRAVNSLRDFVDDDDDDDLERVSWSGEPVGSISWSIRETAGNSGSTHEGREQLKSRNSFSSYAQLPKPTSTYSLSSFFRGRTRPGSFQSLSDALSDTPAKSYAPELGRPKGEYRDYSNDWSPSDTVRRLRKGKVCSLERFRSLQDKLQLLEEAVSMHDGNVITAVLIFLKRTLSKEILFRELEVRQVALRHLIHFLKEIGDQKLLLDLFRFLDRTEELALSHYREHLNIQDPDKRKEFLKTCVGLPFSAEDSAHIQDHYTLLERQIIIEANDRHLESAGQTEIFRKHPRKASILNMPLVTTLFYSCFYHYTEAEGTFSSPVNLKKTFKIPDKQYVLTALAARAKLRAWNDVDALFTTKNWLGYTKKRAPIGFHRVVEILHKNNAPVQILQEYVNLVEDVDTKLNLATKFKCHDVVIDTYRDLKDRQQLLAYRSKVDKGSAEEEKIDALLSSSQIRWKN Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. | ||
